We’re three months into 2022 already!
As with most businesses the Omicron wave has had an impact on our progress. Nonetheless, work has continued at our Karangahape Station sites, with three breakthroughs at Beresford Square. Check out our recent works update for more.
The latest relaxation of the COVID-19 restrictions will enable us to engage with you and the local community in person once more, but strict guidelines remain in place at our sites.
If you have any questions or concerns we can help you with, please don't hesitate to contact us. You can email us at Karangahape@linkalliance.co.nz or call 0800 CRL TALK (0800 275 8255) and press option 4.
Ngā mihi,
The Karangahape Station Team

St Patrick's Day in the park
After the success of Valentine’s Day, we teamed up with Pie Piper again for another giveaway at the Pocket Park but this time with a lot of green involved.
This giveaway was to celebrate St Patrick’s Day with a number of lucky locals grabbing a box of donuts, cakes or cookies.
Passers-by were also entertained by a pair of traditional Irish dancers from the McCallion Irish Dance School to celebrate the patron saint of Ireland. A few of our locals even took to the dance floor and joined in with the festivities.

First Thursdays is back!
It's been a long wait but finally First Thursdays can return to Beresford Square!
First Thursdays, resuming from 5pm-9pm on Thursday 7 April features live music and encourages all local businesses to run their own stalls, events and specials along the streets of Karangahape Road.
This great monthly event could not be possible without the help of Alpha Markets and the Karangahape Business Association, who have been fantastic partners since First Thursdays began.

The survey results are in
We have received the results from the Q1 2022 Stakeholder Satisfaction Report and we're happy to report that Karangahape Station received a 79% overall satisfaction rate.
It’s great to get your invaluable feedback on what you feel is going well and where we can improve, and as always, we encourage you to share your thoughts and feedback with us.
We’d like to highlight a couple of requests for public site tours to be held and to hear about the benefits of City Rail Link. We have information on both of these topics further on in this newsletter.

Providing our teams the chance to get boosted
Our site teams work long hours, and it can be tough to find time to get their COVID-19 booster jabs. So, we arranged for a booster bus to come to site!
We had a great turnout with 15 booster jabs administered. A huge thank you to Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei who provided their services.
Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei established The Tāmaki Vaccination Centre (TVC) which is the only Iwi-led centre in Tāmaki that provides access for whānau and the community to the Covid-19 vaccine.
