Calling all artists to #ConnectAKL

Connectus, meanwhile, wants to hear from artist to help create an art exhibition on Albert Street, between Customs and Wyndham Street. The exhibition will be a celebration for the community who will be taking back ownership of this area after nearly five years of continuous works.

Connectus are looking for artists who are interested in exploring Auckland’s changing cultural and social identity, its shifting urban and rural landscapes and how we maintain meaningful relationships within this growing community.

The work Auckland City Mission does for the most vulnerable and struggling members in the community is an important aspect of this conversation, which is why they have been chosen as the benefactors of the money raised through the sale of the artworks.

The 20 selected artists will be paid an artist fee of $300.
