Faces Of The CRL – Meet Hamish

Delivering the largest infrastructure project undertaken in New Zealand takes some serious talent so in this month’s installation of ‘Faces of the CRL’ we are profiling new team member - Hamish Currie.

Hamish is coming on board the Assurance and Integration team as a Senior Systems Engineer. Roughly translated, that means he manages a team of engineers, anticipates and corrects issues before they start and is essential in helping to deliver the complex City Rail Link project.

He completed his engineering studies with a post-graduate in Waste and Environmental Management with Clean Technologies and has a strong process and chemical engineering background at some very large global companies.

Outside work, Hamish is an avid football player and keen recreational golfer.

Originally hailing from the UK, Hamish has been enjoying life in the southern hemisphere by exploring our idyllic New Zealand countryside and spending time with his family.
