CRL Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability achievements 2020

The City Rail Link project is celebrating its health, safety, environment and sustainability achievements over what’s been our biggest and most challenging year of construction.

Despite the challenges of COVID-19 last year, we’ve continued to make great progress. From having now achieved over 95 per cent diversion of all CRL waste from landfill, setting up Water Treatment Plants at all our sites that enable reuse of treated water, to opening CRL’s new state-of-the-art H&S training centre and completing another successful round of welcoming rangatahi through our Progressive Employment Programme – we have had a massive year and are proud to celebrate our successes.

While we’re building the City Rail Link, we’ve remained focused on caring for the people and neighbouring environment, and appreciate all of the support from the CRL team to achieve this.
