Valentines Day Activities In Mt Eden

The Link Alliance and Uptown Business Association are celebrating love in all its forms this Valentine’s Day with Aroha In Uptown, a programme of events held by businesses and creative spaces radiating out from the Maungawhau/Mount Eden Station. Following on from the Sunday In Uptown ArtWeek Festival in 2020, we're proud to bring back this collaboration for one-of-a-kind events from the heart of the Uptown precinct, all in the name of love.

Visitors can share the love with a pick of multiple events: take a free Ceroc dance class at the Horse & Trap with Bliss Dance Studio, make a Seedloveball at OMG (Organic Market Garden) and hear the love story between plants and microbes, take your pet for a portrait at Brothers Beer & Juke Joint, or sit back and enjoy live music at local establishments and buskers roaming Symonds Street. Fridge & Flagon are celebrating Pride Month with chill DJ sets and live music all afternoon. Take a tour of the artwork on and around the Mt Eden City Rail Link site, including a visit to the Art Studio Collective and viewing a new mural made of reclaimed wood in a labour of love by Piet Ubels and his father Jan.
