New Interns Welcomed

This month City Rail Link Ltd officially welcomed the fifth cohort of Progressive Employment Programme (PEP) interns onto the project at the Te Manawa Training Centre. We are excited to have Devanny, Leuasa, Shane, Sam, Kingston and Iverson join the team.

Following traditional Māori tikanga, the formalities acknowledged the interns, their families and support crew in attendance, as well as the various colleagues, past PEP-alumni, and construction industry representatives that were there to tautoko (support) the programme.

Our interns are now undertaking a 16-week internship where they have been placed around sites and offices in various entry-level roles and will be provided with progressive on-site experience, site specific and personal development training, career opportunities and long-lasting connections with project staff.
