Newsletter Survey Results
In August we asked for your feedback on this newsletter - and today we wanted to say a big thank-you to everyone who participated!
About 100 people took the time to respond to the survey, with many going the extra mile to provide thoughtful and constructive comments.
The survey showed an overwhelmingly positive response to the newsletter; people were generally happy with the newsletter’s content, frequency of publishing and layout design. Constructive comments were greatly appreciated and have been taken onboard for future issues.
People really liked project updates and the technical side of delivering this world-class underground railway. There was also a huge appetite for photos, videos, drone footage and time-lapses of construction.
A frequent comment was the request for a better timeline and specific dates around construction completion and milestones. This is a difficult one, as anyone who has worked in the building industry can appreciate, construction schedules are heavily subject to programme change. Anything from the weather, to contractors, to staff availability can influence when and where things get done. But we’ll try harder to nail down specific dates and keep people informed when they change.
Another comment was that the newsletter would benefit from a second pair of eyes, due to the odd spelling and grammar error creeping through. We’ve since changed the way the newsletter is produced so that it will get a couple of extra layers of proof reading.
One person asked if there was any ongoing work in the twin tunnels completed beneath lower Queen Street and Albert Street. The answer to that is no – they’re sitting mostly empty at the moment!
Someone asked if there could be a separate story about station progress in each issue. For those that would like to find out more about specific station’s updates, please feel free to sign up to individual newsletters here: Mt Eden Station, Aotea Station, Karangahape Station.
