Spring celebration with the community

Our main contractor, Link Alliance, teamed up with Uptown businesses and community organisations for Branch Out festival - a celebration of the start of Spring.

On Saturday 24 September, the festival took place throughout the Normanby Road and Enfield Street area - across 10 great venues. The day was full of delicious food, live art, giant games, music, dog portraits, prizes and so much more.

The time was right to celebrate the vibrant Uptown community, said Uptown Business Association chair, Emma Sparks.

“After years of disruption to this corner of Uptown, businesses were looking forward to showcasing their venues,” Ms Sparks said.

The Urban Sketchers joined the festivities, showcasing all their creative talents by capturing the neighbourhood. Check out some of their awesome art from the day below.
