More colour for Karangahape

Installation begins in the upcoming weeks

Construction hoardings around our Karanaghape Station works will soon become awash with art and colours to reflect the vibrancy of the surrounding community.

The Link Alliance team is engaging with local artists such as Paul Walsh and Misery (Tanja McMillan), to design a variety of artwork for the hoardings along Beresford Square, Mercury Lane, Canada Street and East Street.

The art project is just one of the station team’s initiatives to add to the attractiveness to the surrounding area by transforming construction hoardings into a storytelling experience.

The first design, from Paul Walsh (pictured), follows an urban jungle theme and installation will begin in the coming weeks.
