We’re back and ready for a busy year working on the next phase of works – fitting out the tunnels and stations for Tāmaki Makaurau’s future world-class rail system. 

It’s been a busy month for the Maungawhau/Mount Eden team with the opening of Normanby Road Bridge and the installation of Fenton Street Bridge.

This month we turn the spotlight on Seyah Woodman, one of our latest recruits from the 2022 internship programme.  

Crews have been working around the clock in Waitematā Station (Britomart) to give the concourse floor a fancy new facelift, and a physical lift of about 24cm. 

The world's largest construction YouTube channel produced a great overview video on the project. 

The project is committed to leaving a positive and lasting social legacy and its Progressive Employment Programme, a 16-week paid internship, is a key part of this. 

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and our contractors, Link Alliance, are celebrating by transforming Mt Eden Road into a tunnel of love between Symonds Street and Normanby Road.
